What is emazeMe?
emazeMe is a social directory which allows users to create lists of favorite businesses and trusted providers and to recommend and share providers with their friends.
How does emazeMe work?
emazeMe delivers search results and provider suggestions that are uniquely relevant and personal to you, based in part, on friend-driven recommendations. Use emazeMe to find businesses to add to your own trusted provider list, ask for a business recommendation from your friends, and share your favorite local places.
Why should I use emazeMe?
emazeMe offers users a way to create the ultimate organized list of favorite businesses and service providers. Unlike other sites that provide user reviews by strangers, emazeMe allows individuals to find new service providers and local businesses by searching through their friends' lists and requesting recommendations for a particular type of provider. You can add these (or any) businesses to your own list, which creates one central location of all your favorite places and providers. The goal is to invite friends to join your network, add new providers to your list, share your favorite businesses with friends and ask for a recommendation for a new service provider.
Is emazeMe free?
emazeMe is completely free to use and will continue to add complimentary features that will benefit our user base and the way they search, organize and recommend businesses.
Must I have a Facebook account to become an emazeMe user?
Yes. At this time, you must have a Facebook account to become an emazeMe user.
How do I invite more of my friends to use emazeMe?
Inviting people to join emazeMe is easy. To invite your Facebook friends, follow the steps below:
Click the "Invite Friends" button on the right side of the home page.
Select your friends that you want to invite by clicking the box by their picture & name and click on the "Send Invites" button.
We encourage you to continue adding friends to your networks as this gives you access to more trusted providers and favorite businesses that are on your friends' lists.
How do I add a provider?
There are a few different ways you can add a provider:
If you are on the home page, or have typed in the search box or on a friend's page and you see an interesting provider, you can first click on the provider and then click on the green "ADD" button.
If you don't find what you are looking for, you can add your own provider's information by clicking on the provider tab at the top of a page, and then clicking on the green "Add My Own Provider" button.
How do I share a provider?
Click on the provider tab at the top of a page, then select a provider found in "My Providers" and click on the blue "Share" button icon to share that provider with a friend.
How do I drop a provider?
If you decide that you want to drop a provider, you can do this by hovering your cursor over the provider and clicking on the orange drop button icon to eliminate the provider from your list.
Do you have an app for iOS, Android, Blackberry Phone & iOS, Android, Microsoft Tablet?
Currently we are focused on making emazeMe.com a really useful and cool site for our users. Once we have gotten a handle on it, we will add a mobile product.

At this time, businesses are not able to manage their profiles. In the meantime, you can increase the visibility of your business by joining emazeMe as a user, adding your business and asking your friends, family and fellow employees to add your business to their list as well.
